Partnering with Capital Renovation & Construction, Inc. of Bolingbrook, Illinois, the homeowner rebuilt their fire-damaged home with a focus on code compliance and long-term reliability. The project began with the complete removal of an out-of-code finished basement, followed by foundation and structural upgrades to properly support the home. All utilities were replaced and rebuilt to current standards, the charred roof structure was reconstructed, and new skylights were installed. Original kitchen cabinets were carefully restored, while the bathroom was fully renovated with modern fixtures and timeless tile. New doors, trim, LVP flooring, and updated lighting completed the transformation—restoring the home safely, beautifully, and to today’s standards.
